The Mesa Arizona Temple Christmas Lights event, running from Nov. 28 to Dec. 30, 2025, transforms the temple grounds at 455 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ, into a stunning display with hundreds of thousands of lights from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. nightly. Free and open to all, it features vibrant lights on palm trees, citrus, cacti, and more, alongside 10 biblical vignettes depicting the Christmas story, complete with QR codes for additional content. This 45-year tradition is supported by thousands of local community volunteers. The adjacent Mesa Temple Visitors’ Center hosts the International Nativity Exhibit, showcasing global nativity scenes, open daily from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., with extra hours for daytime viewing on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free parking, light rail access, and accommodations for strollers and wheelchairs are available.

The 6th Annual Casa Crèche Festival will feature hundreds of crèches on loan from members of the Casa’s Faith Community, representing cultures and traditions from around the world. Join us for a special presentation — “Buon Natale, Greccio” — a beautiful retelling of St. Francis and the first Christmas in Greccio, Italy in the year 1223, which began the tradition of setting up nativity scenes. Performances will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the church, featuring the Casa Choir and musicians.

This event is open to the public — there is no admission fee, though goodwill offerings are gratefully accepted.

The Tucson Museum of Art presents El Nacimiento (the creche) on display in La Casa Cordova, an historic old 19th century house in what was once the walled presidio area of the city. The large, colorful diorama, created by Mexican American folk artist Maria Luisa Tena, depicts Mexican street market scenes, Old Testament scenes and the Holy Family. A Nacimiento of 600 miniature pieces is on display every year from late November to March.

The Christmas story comes alive as you drive through the streets of Bethlehem and see exotic animals, handmade costumes, live characters and more. Visitors come face-to-face with the Roman guards at the city gates before being swept into an authentic-looking and multidimensional experience of the first Christmas.

Come and enjoy peace and beauty this Christmas season at Temple Hill! Experience festive Christmas lights and holiday spirit at one of the many performances. Most “Days of Christmas” activities are free of charge. All are open to the public and family-friendly.

More than 600 volunteers over the course of five days create The Christmas Creche Exhibit in Palo Alto, Calif. The exhibit has drawn 10,000 visitors in the past from the U.S. and from six other countries. Free admission.

Travel through beautiful outdoor scenes set in ancient Bethlehem, with biblical characters, inspiring music and recorded narration from the scriptures. Please note: free reservations are encouraged but are not required to attend. We welcome you to come and enjoy the nativity with or without a reservation however, those without reservations may experience longer wait times.

Each year, we invite the community to view our international nativity exhibit. This year, our focus turns towards the angels - the heralds of God's presence who proclaimed the miracle of Christ's birth. Free self guided exhibit: Our gift to the community! Nativity figures lightly polychromed of Swedish birchwood were carved by Antonio Sanjuan Villalba (1902-1996) of Valencia, Spain in 1956.The creche is set in a prepared niche low in the north wall of the north transept so children can see the details. There are 15 figures and nine animals, and the scene combines the Nativity with the arriving shepherds and the Magi of the Epiphany. Admission is $12 for adults and children over 12. Children under 12 are free. Admission for services or private prayer are free. Always check website for hours.

Experience the true spirit of Christmas during a live drive-thru Biblical account of the birth of Jesus Christ. Admission to the Live Drive-Thru Nativity is free.  Arrive anytime between 6:00 and 9:00 pm. Line up on Richmond Road to enter. Any cars in line by 9:00pm will be let through. Wait times can vary, but are shorter after 8:00pm. The event will be located on the grounds of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 905 Richmond Road, Susanville, CA 96130 – across from Diamond View Middle School.

The drive-thru production will feature scenes leading up to the birth of Jesus Christ. Experience Mary and Joseph traveling to the City of David to pay their taxes, the shepherds in the field keeping watch over their flocks by night, a multitude of angels and the glorious birth of Jesus Christ into the world. Children and adults will love the authentic experience! We look forward to seeing you at The Live Nativity 2025.

Live Nativity is a family Christmas experience that recaptures the true meaning of a Redeeming Savior that was born 2000 years ago in a stable in Bethlehem. The dramatic outdoor reenactment captures the spiritual imagination and wonder of every child, teen, and adult while employing full scale drama, Biblical back drops, live animals, and children’s and adult choirs, and special music under the direction of Jon Moore. Join us for a night in the grandstands under the starry sky, with other friends and family, enjoying complementary cocoa and cookies, and savoring a Christmas memory that will make an eternal difference in the lives of those who attend. Please dress warmly as this in an outdoor production, the presentation will be moved indoors if it does rain on a night.

Outdoor LIVE Nativity: Immerse yourself among real sheep and cattle as Mary and Joseph make their way to the stable in Bethlehem. Welcome the Christ child in a manger in this performance of the Live Nativity. This free event is outdoors. Warm clothing recommended. Hot cocoa provided. All are welcome!

Christmas Concert: Held in the chapel, our large choir and LIVE orchestra perform some of the world's most beloved Christmas songs. Feel the love and joy the Savior brings as we reflect on His birth and ring in the season through beautiful and inspirational Christmas music. This event is free and open to the public.

The Abbey of Regina Laudis, a community of contemplative Benedictine women, displays a lavish 18th century Nativity thought to have been created for the coronation of Victor Amadeus II, King of Sardinia, in 1720. The creche was donated to the Abbey in 1949 by philanthropist Loretta Hines Howard. A similar nativity set she gave to the Metropolitan Museum of Art is the centerpiece of the museum's Medieval Galleries each Christmas.

The Blessed Michael McGivney Pilgrimage Center carries on its tradition of showcasing Christmas in art and culture with its 2025 exhibition with two exhibits in 2025: The Spirit of Christmas, featuring creches from around the world, and Away in the Manger: The Creation of Nativity Scenes, featuring the Pilgrimage Center's larger nativity scenes. Free parking and free admission.

"Nativities of the World" Exhibition featuring the treasured Sullivan Collection. Grotto of Bethlehem - Replica of the Holy Manger. The nativity exhibit is available whenever the monastery is open; it is not necessary to be on a tour. Free admission.

Following in the annual Papal tradition in Saint Peter's Square, the National Shrine will host its annual Blessing of the Bambinelli on SU, Dec 21, 2025, following the 4:30 p.m. Mass. The faithful are invited to bring the Baby Jesus from their Nativity scenes to the Hall of American Saints be blessed at the National Shrine on this Fourth Sunday of Advent and participate in the lighting of the Christmas Tree.

"One Church, One Family" showcases nativity scenes, also known as creches, from the Cathedral's collection. The story of the Holy Family, told in different cultures using various media and material, has the power to unite the human family amidst war, conflict and political division. Their story is our story, and their hope is our hope. This year's theme of "One Church, One Family: Christians Around the World Tell the Same Story" features selections from countries belonging to the worldwide Anglican Communion, with includes The Episcopal Church in the United States, to which the Cathedral belongs.The backbone of the Cathedral's collection comes from a gift made by Beulah Sommer. She served the Cathedral in many capacities, including as a docent (tour guide) and member of the National Cathedral Association. She wanted to share the joy of this unique art form with the public. In 1998, she donated more than 600 nativity sets from her personal collection for use in the Cathedral's creche exhibits.

The Sisters of St. Joseph are excited to continue their tradition of sharing their collection of nativities from around the world. Visit the Father Miguel O'Reilly House Museum to see over 100 nativities thoughtfully woven throughout the museum’s regular exhibits, inviting visitors to discover them as part of the larger story of the Sisters of St. Joseph.

For 4 days in December hundreds of nativities from all over the world, decorated with natural floral material and greenery, will be displayed in a beautiful home in downtown Louisville. $15 ticket price will go towards replacing trees in our public park, lost during Hurricane Helene.

Among displays of Polish history and culture are large szopki from the collection of the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow shown on a rotating basis and one large szopka made here in the U.S. for the visit of Pope JohnPaul II in 1978. Check before going to be sure there are szopki on display.

Mid 18th century Neapolitan, presepio (Nativity and village scenes) in an 8' x 5 1/2' setting also 1/3 scale replica of Wit Stwosz altarpiece from the Bazylika Mariacka, Krakow, Poland with nativity scene on wings of the altar doors. In general the church is a repository of sacred art and relics.

LUMA's annual holiday exhibition, Art and Faith of the Creche: The Collection of James and Emilia Govan, continues each year with 50-60 nativity scenes. These works represent only a small part of the Govans' gift that was donated in 2009. Over the course of almost forty years, the Govans amassed over 500 creches, representing over 100 countries. Many are unique in their depiction of the nativity story and incorporate elements, such as architecture, clothing, animals, gifts, and materials, that are particular to the artist's native country. Free admission. Donations of gently used clothes and toiletries or $10 are appreciated.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Nauvoo Methodist Church will host a Christmas Nativity exhibit for community members. Nativity displays will be from community members.

The Nativity Celebration features 600+ nativities, live music, original art and crafts as we celebrate the birth of Christ.

Tour over 300 unique Christmas Nativities on display, created by artists locally and around the world. Musical performances by local musicians will begin on the hour. This free, non-denominational event is held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building in Columbus.

During this Advent season, 150 nativities from the collection of Campus Pastor Janeen Bertsche Johnson will be on display at the Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary Library. The exhibit is free and open to the public during library hours at 3003 Benham Avenue in Elkhart, Indiana. Park near Lambright Center and use the library tower entrance. Part of the collection is visible in the entrance; most are in the library.

In 2014, the McGrath Institute for Church Life began partnering with the Marian Library at the University of Dayton, bringing to Notre Dame's campus an exhibit of creches, or Nativity scenes, from around the world. Since 2020, we have shared this sacred art in a different way, through our digital Advent and Christmas Creche Calendar--a beautiful selection including creches, or Nativity scenes, from our previous six exhibits, as well as creches never before seen on the Notre Dame campus.

Our calendar begins on the First Sunday of Advent (November 30, 2025) and concludes on the feast of the Baptism of the Lord (January 12, 2026). What started as a relatively small display in 1994 has grown to more than 450 works of art, all depicting the birth of Jesus! This year’s festival marks 31 years, with the only gap coming in 2020 (thanks COVID!). See more than 470 works of art and admire the craftsmanship and unique perspectives on the birth of Christ from cultures around the world!

Over 200 Nativity sets from around the world on display made by artists and craftsmen from 83 different countries. The display is handicap accessible and is free and open to the public.

This is the fifth year that the Kentucky Gateway Museum Center has featured the nativity collection of Barb and Tom Clarke. Each year different sets are highlighted. The varied and numerous materials from which sets are created is this year's emphasis. Over 200 sets are annually displayed in museum quality cases. The sets range in size from a life-size set dating to the 1950's which was displayed outside by the Maysville Crib Association for many years to miniature creations. Visitors from near and far frequent the museum. Also housed in the museum are the KSB Miniatures. This is the world's largest collection of miniatures.

Join us for a celebration of the birth and ministry of our Lord, Jesus Christ. This annual event provides an opportunity to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas and find rest during the busy holiday season. Nativity displays from around the world are exhibited amidst a backdrop of lighted Christmas trees and seasonal music. People throughout the area, representing many faiths, loan their personal treasured nativities for the celebration. Each set offers a unique representation of the birth of Jesus Christ. The Shreveport Bossier Nativity Celebration is an interfaith community event - open to all and free of charge.

For the second year, join us in viewing dozens of nativities donated by our community. Enjoy live music performances and audience sing-a-longs to your favorite Christmas songs from 7:00 - 8:00. JOIN US ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 17TH FROM 5:00 PM – 7:00 pm for a special evening featuring a curated tour of international creches led by Lori and Chip Amos, former curators of Washington National Cathedral’s annual creche tour. They will share the history and traditions of Nativity scenes while guiding us through their remarkable collection gathered over decades and from countries across the globe. During the tour, enjoy our festive Cookie Battle! Sample delicious cookies and cast your vote by donating toward your favorite. The cookie that raises the most support will be crowned the winner. Proceeds will be used in support of Ascension's mission to ensure the dignity of all people. If you'd like to participate in the Cookie Battle, please bring a sweet treat, with its name and list of ingredients, for sampling on the 17th.

The Festival of Lights at the Washington DC Temple features over 500,000 lights and beautifully decorated Christmas Trees. The Visitors' Center exhibits beautiful Creche displays featuring nativities from around the world and hosts daily holiday performances that are free and open to the public. Free Admission

A special feature of the display is the Nativity Market Place featuring handmade nativity sets.

The international creche museum showcases an impressive and diverse array of cultural interpretations of the nativity story, featuring some 2,000 nativity scenes from more than 100 countries worldwide. Among its treasures are 2 unique collections of 'Santons' from Provence, France, offering visitors a captivating glimpse into the global and artistic celebration of Christmas. While admission is free, the museum appreciates free-will donations.

Display of large-size Fontanini Nativity figures set on pedestals in a vertical configuration in the chapel. Open M-F 9am-3pm, SA-SU 9am-12pm. If planning to come after 1 pm on a weekday it is best to call the parish office to see if the church would be open. The church & chapel are open all day Saturday until after the 4pm mass and Sunday until 5:30pm.

For the past 16 years, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has been hosting a free event that
ushers in the Christmas season with a sense of peace and belonging. “Nativities From Around the World” features over 500 nativity scenes depicting the birth of Jesus Christ, with each one holding significant meaning to its owner. These nativities are displayed by members of the church as well as by people from the community at large.

Over 50 scenes of creative artwork by local artists, with prizes totaling $1,200 1st ($250) 2nd ($100) and 3rd ($50) prize is for each of the 3 categories; Creative use of materials;How well you executed your craft; Fidelity to the scripture about the birth of Jesus. A museum of past and present entries is displayed the weekend after Thanksgiving. Prizes are awarded and the nativities are delivered throughout the storefronts of the town to be displayed for a month.

Celebrating the 175th anniversary of Historic Trinity Lutheran Church, over 40 trees and more than 700 nativities decorate the three floors of the building, including a life-sized one on the upper level. The large sanctuary tree has over 16,000 lights. There is decor on all three floors, and we even have an elevator for those who shy away from stairs!

Come and view our beautiful Christmas decorations: 260+ Creches from around the world, 90+ Nutcrackers on display in the Dau Library, a multitude of Angels and many beautifully decorated Christmas trees. In our Sanctuary you will find our oldest and largest hand painted Nativity. This Nativity has adorned our Sanctuary since the late 1800's. You also won't be able to miss our 22 foot Christmas tree alit with 18,185 Christmas lights! This year, we add to our displays a 13 piece life-sized Nativity on the stage of the Huegli Auditorium. 'O Come, All Ye Faithful!'

Billed as "The World's Largest Christmas Store," Bronner's lives up to its name when it comes to nativity sets. The store offers over 500 styles of nativities, ranging from ornaments, to advent calendars, to wall decor, to tabletop Nativities, half life-size, and life-size nativity sets. Every one of the more than 300 decorated trees have at least one nativity ornament. The Bronner family, who founded the store in 1945, exhibit their collection of over 100 nativities from around the world in the program center for guests to view. "Silent Night" Chapel, a replica of the Austrian church where the Christmas tune originated.

We're excited to invite you and your family to walk through our beautiful display of over 300 unique nativity scenes from around the world. This free, handicap-accessible event is a perfect way to celebrate the season and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. Free admission.

30th annual Midland Nativity Exhibit featuring over 1300 nativity scenes from around the world.

Christmas Concert on Friday at 7pm, featuring vocalist Dr. Amy Jo Halliday, Vocal Canvas, Indigo Connolly & an Interfaith Choir. 30th Anniversary Retrospective on Saturday. Presented by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Free admission.

This collection features nativities which were purchased in or reflect the Upper Peninsula of Michigan's northwoods, presented by Susanne & Bill Gay.

An Adams Ecumenical Live Nativity is being planned for Sunday, December 15th. This time, it will not be a drive-thru, instead guests will be invited to park their vehicle and walk through the scenery to enjoy their time. They can sit and listen to the choir of angels, come up close to see the animals, and enjoy a cookie and warm drink. This will be an opportunity for our community to come together and share in the joy and hope of the Christmas season. A free-free donation will be taken for the event. All proceeds will go towards the Adams Town and Country Rec. The pool is currently undergoing a major fundraiser to renovate the pool structure through resurfacing the concrete, replacing the plumbing, and replacement of the fencing. As a community event, we will need help from many people to put this all together. This is sure to be a great event!

It is once again that time of year when our congregation gathers with other local churches to share our Christmas Gift to our community and the surrounding area with our Annual Live Drive Thru Nativity. Gather the entire family to drive thru key scenes depicting the nativity story of Mary and Joseph as they journey to Bethlehem for the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Witness shepherds, angels, Roman soldiers, wisemen, animals and more as you travel thru the show from the comfort and warmth of your vehicle. This event is free to the public and appropriate for all ages to attend.
We hope to make this year’s event one to remember and to spread the joy and hope of the Christmas season to all who attend.

Discover this unique collection of over 970 Nativity Scenes. This amazing collection is in a new location starting this year! What began as a personal collection in 1968 grew into a beloved annual display of faith and community. The Nativity collection of Helen and Bill Holder features more that 970 unique scenes. You will be amazed at the variety and creativity of these items! It is the largest known Nativity collection in Minnesota.

Beginning in 2025, the Nativity House collection will find a new home at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, where it will be lovingly operated by the Knights of Columbus Council 1201. Visitors are invited to continue this cherished Austin tradition and experience the wonder and faith that inspired the collection.

The Martha Spencer Rogers Creche Collection includes nearly 200 creches from over 80 countries around the world and presents the Christ child as belonging to each community. There are several dozen additional creches and a growing collection of Noah's Arks also on permanent view. Rogers, a Westminster member who began collecting creches in La Paz, Bolivia in the mid-1960s, donated both her collection and her custom display cases to the Westminster Collection in 2007. It now is on permanent view on the church's second floor and lower level.

The longest-running and largest free, annual display of Nativity scenes and musical performances in Minnesota. Over 150 nativity scenes, Live musical performances & refreshments. Free admission & all ages welcome

See the nativity come to life at this annual, outdoor presentation. Local actors bring you the sights and sounds of the Christmas story, with Joseph, Mary, and baby Jesus in a live manger scene, with real camels, dancing angels, and more. Enjoy Christmas music sung by the community choir. After the show refreshments are served at the Springfield Community Center.

The full collection of Mary Hazel Weissinger -- over 600 nativity sets -- are on display in the Goodman Memorial United Methodist Church and the Fellowship Hall in Cary, MS. The display is amazing! There is no admission charge, but any donations would be greatly appreciated for the Cary Cemetery Association (CCA). In addition, there will be handmade ceramic nativities and nativity ornaments for sale, with proceeds going to the CCA.

The Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help invite you to bring the entire family the first weekend in December to view 100's of unique nativities. The Kirkwood, Missouri display will includes sets from all over the world, a large Fontanini village, and a hands-on children's room where kids can interact with a dozen sets while parents relax. We do ask that each child is accompanied by an adult. In lieu of an entrance fee, the Sisters are collecting cash donations or new towels, kitchen or bath, for Welcome Neighbor STL. Free parking is plentiful, and guests are asked to use the main entrance atop the stairs on the east side of Tau Center. For those in need, there is accessible parking on the Southwest corner of the building, but the entrance is locked. Please call 314-965-3700 when you arrive to be welcomed into the building. Tau Center is located at 335 S Kirkwood Rd behind the PNC Bank building -- turn west at Starbucks across from MOD Pizza. Tau Center backs up to South Clay between Kindercare and the American Legion.

Come experience the joy of Christmas at this free, family-friendly Community Crèche exhibit featuring hundreds of nativities from around the world! Enjoy live musical performances, along with fun activities and crafts for children. Everyone is welcome to share in this beautiful and inspiring way to begin the Christmas season! The Mount Laurel Living Nativity is a completely free gift to the community that has run for over 30 years! It is a live production with 13 walk-through, outdoor scenes. About 200 cast and crew are required to run it each night.

​When you arrive you'll enter the building, be given a group number and be seated in the sanctuary. While waiting you can enjoy live entertainment, until your group is called. Once your group begins, it takes about 45 minutes to walk through all the scenes (mostly outside, so bundle up). Your tour finishes in the gym, where there are homemade cookies and hot chocolate waiting for you. There are no tickets or reservations for this event.

It is our hope that you make the Living Nativity a part of your Christmas, as we together celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus.

"Celebration of the Nativity" will be a Community Multi-Faith Nativity event sponsored by the Albuquerque North & West Stakes of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We invite all community members to join with us for the viewing of nativities, musical selections, children's nativity drawings and much more. A $5/person donation supports art creation and installation in the Mesquite Historic District. Our collection is out year-round and can be viewed by appointment.

Dia de los Reyes is an exhibit sharing the creches (nacimientos) from the collection of Faith Hutson and John Verploegh and includes ones from their world journeys. This event coincides with Epiphany which celebrates the manifestation of Christ to the Gentiles as represented by the Magi or Kings. Special prominence is given to the three kings who are the first recorded gift-bringers and the origin of many customs including carols, plays, and enjoyment of the traditional pastry called Rosca de Reyes.
