Visiting Other Collections

I was fortunate to visit two other collections this past year. I felt privileged to sit with another passionate collector and listen as they explained where the bought their sets, where they discovered different artists. I got lost in the conversations, the details of the how's and why's of collecting.

From Northern Italy

So much of my own collecting feels isolated and distant, but as I listened to the other collectors I found the same passions, the same intensity, the same vision as theirs.

Suddenly I thought of all of our collectors and wondered if you ever get outside of your own collection? Do you spend time visiting with others, and sharing stories? Have you formed a collectors group? We at FOTC would really like to hear about your clubs and groups, or even your meetings with other collectors.
