A fragile eggshell, hand painted in this beautiful, stained glass look, was accidentally dislodged from its place of display & unfortunately landed on a wood stable instead of the padded carpet that would have protected it. The main area of the design broke into many pieces and the challenge to put it back together touched my heart. Time, patience & a steady hand restored the broken pieces (as many as could be recovered). Then it reminded me that this is what God does. He creates a perfect man, but that man/woman eventually becomes cracked & broken with a piece or two missing, yet in His Time & with His Grace & Mercy & tender Love, He restores us!!! Not to perfection, but letting perhaps a small hole & a few cracks still exposed as a reminder & a visible witness to others of our Awesome God!!
